As a Senior Director of HR, you will be a close partner of all leaders in our NY team and globally, your work will be instrumental in developing and growing the team, while developing and maintaining Bizzabo’s culture and values.

This position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of relating to all individuals within different levels of the organization. You will be responsible for providing leadership in developing and executing HR strategy in a fast-paced environment to support the overall business plan and strategic direction of Bizzabo. Specific areas of responsibility will include Recruiting and Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, Retention, Training, Performance Management, Succession Planning and HRIS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach and develop managers and individual contributors
• Assist employees and managers in resolving workplace issues
• Assess employee development needs, make recommendations and implement appropriate solutions
• Ensure that we recruit the most qualified talent, especially executive level
• Work with the leadership team to develop human resources strategies to maximize our growth
• Act as a trusted advisor for senior leaders
• Create, measure and drive employment metrics to create efficiencies
• Develop a monthly reporting cadence to senior management
• Initiate programs that help our culture continue to thrive
• Take part in leading cross-company HR projects
• Draft and implement the yearly HR budget and action items.

Requirements:

• Significant experience leading and developing professionals in a combination of General HR, Talent Acquisition and related disciplines
• Strong business and HR acumen, including problem-solving and critical thinking
• Communication - ability to adapt communication style to work collaboratively and build the BEST culture and company.
• Bachelors degree required. Masters degree - an advantage
• At least 8 years of proven experience in leadership roles in small/mid-size tech companies
• Proven ability to influence change at the senior level, supporting CEO and senior leadership in developing and managing an evolving company culture
• Exceptional project management skills with expertise in leading organizational effectiveness and performance
• Demonstrated background in talent management and leadership development; as well as have a proven ability to attract and retain outstanding talent
• Prior experience working in a fast paced growing startup - must
• Past experience in working globally
• Experience working with “C- level” managers with consultancy and business partnership skills
• Project management skills and ability to drive programs independently
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into action planning
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
• A creative, resourceful problem solver, excellent teamwork skills, proactive and self-motivated
