We’re looking for a Senior Diversity Specialist to join our People team!
What you’ll do:
Anticipate needs and provide high-level executive administrative support for the Vice President of DEI, including managing a complex calendar and schedule, inbox management and prioritization, interacting regularly and building relationships with executives and teams across Snap.
Be responsible for helping the team to operate more efficiently, improve internal processes and to stay organized.
Play a dynamic, central role in the execution of the team-wide deliverables, through a combination of project management support and development of an efficient documentation and filing system and standard operating procedures.
Prepare and modify documents for projects of the team, including correspondence, reports, drafts, presentations, and comms.
Own team organizational documents, such as meeting agendas, strategy planning documents, project timelines and more.
Regularly report on progress on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the IDEA team.
Support planning and execution of events hosted or led by the team.
Manage purchasing operations for IDEA programs that utilize external vendors.
Given the purview over the team’s portfolio of projects, act as a resource for the team by identifying strategic opportunities for coordination of efforts, or potential gaps in coverage or support.
Handle any additional initiatives or work needed to support the overall IDEA team support model at Snap.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain an attention to detail; direct experience supporting an executive leader is ideal.
Superior communication skills, including strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Strong project management skills to drive initiatives to completion and manage fast-changing priorities.
Proficiency in Google Suite, such as sheets, slides, and docs.
Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
Ability to build relationships cross-functionally and across multiple time zones.
Must exercise good discretion and judgement and be able to be trusted with confidential information.
Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to experience in order to learn and identify creative solutions to problems.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment or relevant experience.
2+ years of experience providing high-level administrative support at the executive level or relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience navigating a highly matrixed organization.
Understanding of, and commitment to, undoing structural and institutional racism and bias, and other forms of discrimination experienced by historically marginalized groups. Consideration of the impacts and outcomes in decision-making processes and on historically marginalized communities.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with people of diverse races, ethnicities, ages, gender identities, and sexual orientations in a multicultural environment.
