As People Operations Senior Manager, you will have the opportunity to help build out people operations function, implement HR practices, and gain experience across the entire people operations framework.


You will serve as first point of contact for employee needs, included but not limited to: onboarding questions, benefits, payroll, compliance and offboarding. 


Additionally, this role will provide the opportunity to work on adhoc People projects in other areas; such as general day-to-day office operations, internal communications, Employee Experience, and D&I.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for US employees to resolve inquiries and issues related to payroll, benefits and company policies
  • Help create and oversee our new professional organizations, which will include but is not limited to: setting up payroll and benefits, maintaining files, creating HR policies, and serving as HRBP of each PO that Kaia implements
  • Successfully offboard our US company from our PEO in the next 12 months - establishing an internal process for benefits, payroll, and compliance
  • Maintain accurate and timely employee files, execute employee movement processes and administration including onboarding, off-boarding, Transfers, New Hire Orientation, IT partnership, immigration/visa sponsorship, HR Compliance, Employee Compliance Training, Worker’s Compensation, and Leaves of Absence accurately and ensuring compliance with all current employment law
  • Perform HRIS activities to include: transfer, promotions, and manager changes Regularly run standard and ad-hoc reports and analyses using the Company’s HRIS -- track, manage and audit HRIS data integrity
  • With People Operations Manager (HRBP..), ensure all company policies, procedures & compliance requirements) are up to date in line with current local, national (state/federal) & international employment laws & regulations.
  • Ensuring people leaders are up to date with changes to any policies
  • Support the coordination of benefit enrollments for new employees, notify employees of participation eligibility and assist with new-hire orientations; helping administer and maintain employee benefit programs such as health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, and retirement plans.
  • Assist with HR policy development & implementation, and completing HR compliance health checks as assigned
  • Create meaningful reporting and present analysis and information

What you will need for this position:

  • 5-7 years of experience
  • Incredible organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage their time efficiently 
  • Remarkable and responsive customer-service focus, with strong verbal and written communication to both Hiring Managers and Candidates
  • Empathetic understanding of the candidate process
  • Ability to take ownership and seek opportunities for enhancing people workflows
