Senior People Partner (Sr. HRBP)
Dotdash is looking for a strategic business partner to creatively and proactively solve problems for the org they support. As Senior People Partner, you will plan and execute organizational change, advise leaders on employee relations and employee development programs, and partner with the rest of the People team to support the growth of Dotdash. You will empower team members and stakeholders to bring their best selves to work. This role reports to the Director, People.
About Your Contributions:
- Partner with leadership to understand business needs and offer proactive HR consultation in order to maintain Dotdash’s high performing culture
- Manage the talent life cycle for your organization including performance management, career path planning, and employee relations
- Help define the structures and launch teams needed to unlock greater efficiency, deeper expertise and tighter focus
- Deeply understand the teams you support with a finger on the pulse of priorities, strengths, and areas of opportunity
- Influence leaders and managers as they make talent decisions while incorporating your understanding of the greater business goals and priorities
- Deliver training programs that foster our inclusive environment and facilitate growth opportunities for participants
- Build upon existing frameworks while strategizing how to personalize effective management and performance management practices
- Provide 1:1 coaching for the leaders and individual contributors within your organization
- Suggest best practices on an as-needed basis to stay aligned with business needs
- Play an integral role in guiding change management with leaders and team members through strong communication and cross-team synchrony
- Support and develop diversity and inclusion efforts
About You:
- Experience as an HR business partner or similar role, preferably in a company that has experienced rapid and sustained growth
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Knowledge of employment laws to ensure compliance in the US and our international locations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability and willingness to self-start and self-direct work; comfort dealing with ambiguity
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust as the business needs change
- Proven ability to use discretion as well as maintaining and safeguarding confidential information
- Must be able to travel to Dotdash locations outside of NYC occasionally or as required
- Must have a sense of humor and get energy from directly impacting the success of Dotdash
- Experience with the KornFerry Leadership Architect and/or Clifton Strengths Coaching a plus
