The Role:

In this role, you will report to the Talent Acquisition Lead and partner with business leadership to determine recruiting needs and execute search strategy for the vertical. You will inspire, develop and lead a Talent Acquisition team for that vertical that focuses on instituting best practices in identifying, engaging, assessing and attracting a diversity of top talent from the external marketplace and facilitating internal candidate transfers. A deep understanding of the business to provide appropriate consultation and drive proactive pipelining efforts in support of scaling the business will also be critical to success.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Provide coaching, guidance and advice on best practices, help the team problem solve to maintain commitments to TA KPIs

  • Advise on, iterate and manage a best-in-class recruitment process, from inception to conclusion

  • Keep track of key recruiting metrics

  • Lead team in gathering competitive intelligence, industry trends, and labor market conditions to design and implement new search strategies.

  • Ensure the delivery of an exceptional experience to all stakeholders, including candidates, hiring managers, and teams  

  • Participate in strategy meetings with TA team & hiring managers, providing a consultative approach on talent as we scale the business

  • Understand the nuances of how to design and plan a TA strategy and lead others in the execution of that strategy

  • Manage contracts and 3rd party vendor relationships

  • Champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts within the TA space, ensuring diverse candidate slates and partnering with the client groups on expanding possibilities

  • Iterate TA processes within the team to ensure strong collaboration, client delivery, and proactive communication

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on hiring techniques and legal issues regarding hiring practices

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Occasional need to work outside of normal business hours as required to support customers may be required

  • 8-10 years in Talent Acquisition or supporting hiring function with 1-2 years managing a team of recruiters

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Experience creating sourcing strategies and execution planning

  • Experience building trusting relationships with client teams and strong partnerships externally

  • Experience in building diverse candidate slates and engaging an inclusive hiring experience

  • Proficiency in managing and leading a team 

  • Understanding of Talent Acquisition KPIs

  • Ability to partner and consult to hiring managers 

  • Ability to quickly understand business needs and act in support of them

  • Comfort with supporting and interacting with senior level leaders
