You will have a pulse on how employees are deployed to projects, and will use that knowledge to optimize solving resource requests for forecast projects.

The Senior Staffing Specialist will work closely with the US Staffing Lead and finance team to monitor billability and timesheet accuracy, and will work closely with the HR and Recruiting teams on discipline talent strategies. You will build relationships and work effectively with members of the operations and billable staff, office management, Global DV staffers, Performance Committee, and the DV US leadership team.

  • Respond to staffing inquiries from leadership regarding availability, upcoming projects, (i.e., support for proposals, sales development, demos, temps/contractors, etc.)
  • Facilitate onboarding/training opportunities for New Hires
  • Understand resource capabilities, skills and interests quickly and can factor these into staffing decisions
  • Work with global cross-office staffing to fill longer term staffing needs and BCG ABM’s in NAMR (i.e., Platinion)
  • Collaborate with HR/PGC/Coaches/Cohort leads to understand people’s development needs and incorporate into schedules
  • Escalate issues related to group rotations, retention or employee relations, workflow and projected staffing needs
  • Monitor talent bandwidth with our Vendor Staffing Lead in order to get ahead of any vendor needs

  • Maintain employee data in our proprietary staffing assignment tool. Manage changes to project forecasts, add new billable and non billable projects to the system, adjust staff allocations as needed
  • Work closely with HRBP’s on any global mobility assignments or transfers
  • Partner with the cohort HRBP and cohort lead on talent strategy by advising on topics such as most in-demand skills and profiles
  • Perform other analytical tasks or special projects as needed

You should have:

  • 2+ years of experience in a resource management or workforce planning role preferably within a professional/consulting services or project based environment
