Cadre is seeking a Senior Talent Partner with the passion, drive and agility to deliver and own high-volume recruiting for all functions across the company. Reporting to our VP of People & Talent, you will partner with leaders across the business to serve as a consultant, advising hiring managers and owning end-to-end recruiting in an effort to continue to build exceptional, fearless and selfless teams as we scale. Although you'll be hiring across all teams, the initial emphasis will be on engineering, sales, and marketing.

What You’ll Do:

  • Gain a deep understanding of our business and strategic direction, using this knowledge to champion our culture and mission when engaging with the business and all candidates 

  • Build relationships with hiring managers and leaders to identify hiring needs; communicate progress updates to senior leadership

  • Define and refine a standardized interview processes while managing a best-in-class the candidate experience from prescreen to offer stage

    • Provide a consistent and positive candidate experience throughout the entire recruiting process with proactive communication and engagement

    • Educate and train hiring managers on recruiting processes as well as appropriate use of recruiting tools

    • Design and implement robust search strategies to build deep pipelines for active and future roles

    • Collaborate with the broader People Team to build a robust interview training program that reduces unconscious bias and promotes best practices 

  • Own all aspects of the end-to-end recruiting processes for multiple roles across the total company, with a focus on engineering to start. Activities include but are not limited to:

    • Prioritize roles and establish recruiting timelines

    • Lead intake meetings

    • Write job descriptions in partnership with hiring managers

    • Prepare job postings

    • Screen candidates against job qualifications

    • Conduct phone/video interviews

    • Regularly provide feedback to hiring managers regarding candidates 

    • Communicate progress and results (e.g., offering position or declining a candidate) to hiring managers and relevant stakeholders

    • Track current openings and provide reports/metrics as needed

    • Check prospective employee references

    • Draft final offer letters, working closely with our finance team to make offer recommendations that are aligned to external pay practices and promote internal parity

    • Present and negotiate offers 

    • Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation

  • Develop, coach and manage our Talent Operations Coordinator, collaborating to build and foster an outstanding talent acquisition function

  • Partner with our VP of People to identify where to allocate recruiting spend; oversee relationships with vendors and agencies 

  • Recommend strategies related to talent acquisition and retention that will impact growth of the company

  • Implement new processes and identify bottlenecks in our current recruiting process, improve existing processes

 

What You Have: 

  • 5+ years of full life-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in-house talent acquisition at startups 

  • Experience managing a lean recruiting team, including leveraging and delegating to recruiting coordinators

  • Background in diverse talent sourcing, with a focus on advocating for URM (Underrepresented Minorities) candidates

  • Experience in technical recruiting is a must, experience in both technical and business recruiting is a huge plus 

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to build relationships across a Matrix organization and with candidates

  • Comfortability owning relationships with hiring managers and hiring teams, strong ability to advise, influence and manage upward when necessary 

  • Strong negotiation skills, ability to close candidates before and during the offer stage

  • Business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to help effectively grow our business

  • Deep experience sourcing candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, bringing a creative yet data-driven approach to the outreach process

  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity and constant change, while maintaining a high level of professionalism

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

  • Experience with various Applicant tracking systems (we use Greenhouse) and Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Calendar)
