Role
We’re seeking an experienced and driven senior technical recruiter to lead talent acquisition and recruiting across the organization. This role will report to the head of people operations and requires strategic thinking, analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and high technical aptitude. This team member will juggle multiple high-priority requests while interfacing professionally with internal stakeholders and candidates externally.
Your primary mission is to source and hire for technical and non-technical requisitions that we have open at any given time. You will own initiating the hiring process, outbound candidate sourcing, inbound candidate management, scheduling, candidate communications, phone screens, hiring managers and team collaboration, and facilitating new onboarding for all open roles. You’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining a data-driven exceptional candidate and new hire experience, to foster the Trail of Bits brand in the industry. You will owner all recruiting activities throughout the organization. The ideal candidate possesses a ‘no task too small, no task too big’ attitude, is naturally empathetic, and proactively owns and solves problems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and outline qualifications for the role(s) to be filled; write all job descriptions.
- Identify the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting cybersecurity candidates.
- Own all outbound candidate sourcing including identifying key sources, outlining outreach templates, managing communications, and selling Trail of Bits.
- Foster the Trail of Bits talent brand in the industry through talent branding e.g. social media posts, candidate outreach, job postings, hiring articles etc.
- Manage the candidate pipeline from the new lead to hire stage.
- Qualify candidates and make independent decisions about inviting them to next steps in the evaluation process.
- Coordinate internally with hiring managers and teams to scope, source, and hire for each role effectively.
- Schedule all phone screens, technical interviews, and negotiations for hiring teams.
- Ensure a strong candidate experience as the top priority is maintained.
- Provides advice and recommendations to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations for candidates receiving offers.
- Generate all offer letters and manage negotiations.
- Sell Trail of Bits as the employer of choice to drive a high offer acceptance rate.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of technical recruiting experience.
- Experience hiring cybersecurity engineers, in the areas of Engineering, Cryptography, Blockchain, Security and Application Security required.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity consulting is preferred.
- Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles, and technical skills.
- Experience independently leading a full-cycle recruitment process.
- GitHub, Twitter, Google Suite, Slack, Donut, and Lever experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail.
