This is an opportunity to influence and grow a team of innovative engineers who love to solve hard problems – together. We are seeking an experienced, tech-focused recruiter to scale our R+D organization. We leverage modern search strategies and build close relationships with our hiring managers to work together as a team to identify and hire top performing talent around the world. In this important leadership role, you will partner closely with technical leaders across the organization to understand their strategic plans and growth needs and ensure our recruitment strategies will meet those needs.

You will be responsible for connecting with tech communities across New York, Toronto, Boston and Tel Aviv, amplifying our brand and attracting the best technologists to our teams. 

What You Will Be Working On

  • Help drive efforts coordinated across Talent Acquisition, Marketing and Technology to build the Turbo brand among technologists in New York, Toronto, Boston and Tel Aviv
  • Plan, develop, and implement innovative sourcing strategies to proactively recruit technologists to Turbonomic
  • Identify, define and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency and achieve target performance metrics
  • As a key member of the Talent Acquisition leadership team, contribute to strategic planning and team-wide initiatives
  • Utilize data to report key hiring and pipeline metrics to stakeholders, proposing data-driven solutions to drive results
  • Build close relationships with Turbo’s R&D Leadership Team to deeply understand their teams, technology, hiring needs and strategic business objectives
  • Lead targeted executive searches and provide support to the recruiting team and hiring managers, as needed

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of hands-on, technical recruitment experience, ideally with a mix of agency and in-house recruitment, supporting high-growth, highly complex technology organizations
  • A proven track record of achieving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated experience and passion for community building, with a strong network of technologists
  • Ability to analyze and derive insights from data. Possess a data-driven decision-making orientation and drive improvement from those decisions
  • Proven experience establishing and growing effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from our most senior leaders to individual contributor
  • Experience building – or rebuilding - end-to-end recruitment processes to reduce operational friction, build robust, diverse talent pipelines, and effectively close talent at all levels
  • A collaborative mindset and an eagerness to work closely with colleagues across the People team, including counterparts in Talent Acquisition, People Strategy and People Operations

Location

We have an office right across from Grand Central Station and another larger office right outside the city in White Plains NY.
