This Senior Recruiter will be responsible for supporting hiring for the start-ups and new ventures spun up in collaboration with our corporate partners. In this critical role, they will manage the entire recruiting strategy, search execution and candidate management process from research strategy, compensation benchmarking, candidate development, interview, and assessment to offer negotiation and accept, partnering closely with leaders across DV and our corporate partners.
In this role you will:

  • Own and deliver on the full-cycle search, assessment, and engagement strategy for talent, with a focus on Director-level to C-Suite roles, for ventures across a diverse range of industries and markets. Work closely with venture leadership hiring manager(s), corporate partner HR teams and other relevant stakeholders to design and implement hiring strategies - including research strategy, compensation analysis, sourcing, assessment, and closing of highly qualified candidates
  • Serve as an advocate to both clients and candidates throughout the entire search and assessment process, establishing regular touch points and providing diligent follow through resulting in best-in-class client and candidate experience
  • Have experience leading and mentoring other recruiters, with a focus on performance excellence and individual development
  • Perform related recruiting and sourcing functions
  • Leverage data to make informed decisions and hiring recommendations at all levels. Partner effectively with recruiting team peers and cross-functional partners (sourcing, compensation, HR, systems, and operations teams)
  • Build and maintain networks of potential candidates though proactive market research and on- going relationship management
  • Participate in any other tasks to support the department and company as required


You should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience, inclusive of at least 2 years in executive search or talent strategy consulting, ideally in a retained search model
  • Experience in and/or understanding of commercial, fee-for-service retained search
  • BA/BS degree, or equivalent experience
  • Digital/technology or start-up experience, with the ability to conduct searches of all levels with tact and tenacity
  • The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and interact with all levels of management
  • An eye for detail and demonstrable understanding and application of competency-based candidate assessment across business, product and engineering functions
  • Understanding of and aptitude with Diversity, Equity & Inclusion recruiting best practices
  • The ability to partner with and influence business leaders and key stakeholders
  • The ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and interact with all levels of management
  • Team player mentality - highly collaborative, partnering with our Recruiting Strategy & Operations team to provide - and constantly improve upon - a positive and seamless client and candidate experience
  • Finesse in client interaction, including working with Hiring Managers and Client partners, taking new requirements, reviewing candidate profiles, and updating candidate pipeline progress
  • A customer-focused approach with the ability to provide a high-touch experience to both candidates and hiring managers
  • An analytical mindset who understands the importance of tracking metrics
  • Exceptional organization abilities, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to prioritize various projects and targets
