About the Role

We’re looking for a thoughtful leader with strong execution skills to join Namely’s People team to lead and execute our talent strategy, including mobility, performance management and learning and development. The ideal candidate will be passionateabout developing people, data driven, results-oriented, and have proven success building process excellence across multiple areas.

You will work closely with our leaders to drive best in class People practices and strategy. The role will be responsible for impact across the employee experience within Namely, our HR product roadmap at Namely, and the broader HR ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Bring a fresh perspective to talent strategy and practices; create innovative tools and resources for managers and employees to enable better talent outcomes, including strong engagement, retention and internal mobility rates
  • Ensure that our talent strategy is inclusive and supportive of the development and growth of our diverse talent
  • Drive vision and execution of all aspects of talent management
    • Performance Acceleration: Support Namely’s philosophy of continuous feedback by facilitating regular performance check-ins, effective peer and 360 feedback, and our annual performance review cycle
    • Talent assessment and development: Keep a pulse on talent by partnering with leaders to hold regular assessments; enable clear and transparent path for growth by enhancing and communicating our competency model
    • Learning and Development: Oversee our employee onboarding experience; embed a learning culture at Namely by delivering engaging and effective learning resources for individual contributors, managers and senior leaders
    • Internal mobility: Collaborate with managers to build and test career pathing tools; manage the lateral transfer and promotion process across Namely to support the development of our employees
  • Assist in employee relations issues as appropriate to ensure a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Be a trusted advisor and coach to employees and managers
  • Live Namely’s company values and embed them throughout our talent management practices

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience, 5+ years in HR
  • Tech industry experience is a plus
  • BA / BS degree, Masters/MBA a plus
  • Strategic and creative. You have a vision for the future of talent management and likes to test new ways of doing things.
  • Self-starter with strong execution. You are dedicated to process excellence and have exceptionally strong project management skills with great follow-through
  • Metrics and results driven. You believe in data-driven decision making and enjoy problem solving. You care about making a big impact
  • A wonderful attitude and strong interpersonal skills. You can effectively communicate, empathize and build trust at all levels
