What's the role?

Due to increased hiring we need to add a Lead Recruiter to help build the Design team

  • Motivate, mentor, partner with, and develop the NYC Talent Acquisition team to be recognized as experts in their field enhancing the reputation of TA both internally and externally.
  • Role model as a consultative business partner with the skills and experience to build genuine relationships and work effectively with stakeholders
  • Bring in experience and creative ideas to contribute to the build out and delivery of highly successful and efficient Talent Acquisition strategies
  • Develop and build talent pools for key roles and functions, ideally you will have a background in Design but other functions such as Engineering, Dev Ops, Mobile Development, Data Science, Product, Digital Marketing and Cyber Security also considered.
  • Maintain awareness of key market trends in recruitment and competitor activity.
  • Organize and facilitate onsite and offsite recruiting events.
  • Attend networking events such as tech meet-ups and recruitment events to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Develop and maintain a best in class candidate experience.

Bring Your Best! What this role needs:

  • 8+ years of full-life cycle Technical recruitment experience, preferably with a mix of start-ups and Fortune 100 companies
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience coaching, mentoring, or leading a team
  • Demonstrated talent acquisition expertise, including but not limited to: marketing, strategy, sourcing, interviewing, processes, functions, systems, vendor management, legal requirements and OFCCP compliance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • High degree of personal organization, self-motivation and integrity.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry is preferred.
  • Ability to travel 10% domestically
