ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a passionate leader to help us build the CompStak team and help us meet our aggressive growth targets. The Talent Acquisition Manager will partner with CompStak’s senior leadership to identify, recruit and onboard exceptional candidates, that are as much a match for CompStak’s values and culture, as they are a perfect fit for their individual role.

We want someone who exemplifies the player/coach mentality. You’re willing and able to meet individual targets in recruitment, but are ready build a recruiting team as CompStak’s growth continues to accelerate. Our ideal candidate is an operations expert, who loves setting up new processes and creating metrics and reporting to make sure the recruiting engine is running efficiently. You’re also comfortable working with and meeting the specific needs of many stakeholders, as your role requires working with hiring managers in technology, product, business development, sales, data science, operations and more.

As the first dedicated member of CompStak’s People team, you are someone ready to jump in, learn a new skill and try something new. While this role is primarily about recruiting exceptional talent, the role can grow as you build your skills within CompStak.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

  • Leading recruiting initiatives to continue to source the best talent.
  • Help scale the recruitment process for multiple open positions across teams and work with hiring managers to create job descriptions and recruitment strategies
  • Maintain and constantly build on CompStak’s brand as an amazing place to work
  • Provide compelling value proposition to potential candidates about the company and opportunities in our organization.
  • Manage CompStak’s Applicant Tracking System to ensure an adequate pipeline of candidates 
  • Oversee communication between candidates and hiring teams
  • Save the company money by identifying candidates before they’re on the market.
  • Develop a network through industry contacts, associations and hiring executives to help identify and source qualified leaders.
  • Work with Managers and Business Partners to determine when the need is appropriate to engage a search firm, maintain a preferred list of firms by function and performance, and negotiate the best terms with these firms.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Leverage the internet, social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.

YOUR EXPERIENCE 

  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition
  • High growth start-up experience preferred
  • Experience operationalizing, socializing, and executing highly visible HR initiatives
  • Comprehensive behavioral-based interviewing and candidate assessment experience
