Why is the Talent Acquisition Specialist important to us?
We’re looking for a high energy, results-driven talent acquisition professional to join our people operations team. This is a unique opportunity to help build and scale the future of Shapeways! Acting as a Shapeways talent scout, you will manage the recruitment process from end to end, as well as assist in the development and management of our employer brand and recruiting strategy. This is also a high volume, high visibility position splitting time between our manufacturing facility in Long Island City and our HQ in NYC. You’ll get to work on a broad range of positions across the Org; initially focusing on our manufacturing, operations, and supply chain teams and expanding into additional corporate roles as we grow. This role reports to the Manager of Talent Acquisition.
REQUIREMENTS
As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Partnering with the Manager of Talent Acquisition and senior leaders in the company to identify and prioritize talent acquisition needs across the Org
- Develop strategies to fill active and passive pipelines through sourcing and recruitment programs
- Manage the recruitment process and life cycle, including initial assessments, interviews, and offers
- Gather, review and analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve recruitment, performance, and retention
- Counsel the candidate on benefits, salary, and work environment
- Provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers
You might be a good fit if you have/are:
- 2+ years of proven success exceeding expectations in a high-volume recruiting role
- Experience recruiting on a variety of roles; including manufacturing, operations, and corporate positions at varying levels
- Self-motivated, able to take initiative, and use sound judgment in day-to-day decision-making
- Experience in sourcing candidates; not reliant on inbounds alone!
- Drive and passion for delivering a top-notch candidate experience
- Experience working in the technology startup world; manufacturing experience a HUGE plus
- Working knowledge of Google Suite, LinkedIn Recruiter, and an ATS; preferably Workable
