ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to help us scale our tech teams. As part of Block’s recruiting team, you will make a deep impact on hiring hiring strategy, build our technical teams, and support other Talent Acquisition special projects.

Our ideal hire has already successfully recruited at scaling technology startups (or agency) and is eager to take on the challenge of rapidly growing our company. We’re looking for someone who has built a great rapport with Hiring Managers and other collaborators with experience influencing both candidates and hiring teams to make well-informed, data-backed decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivering a meaningful experience to hiring managers, interviewers & candidates involved in the recruitment process.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities are accurately tracked in the ATS (Greenhouse).
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews in a timely manner.
  • Lead ad hoc situations related to recruitment related activities.
  • Advise the Head of Talent Acquisition and Hiring Managers in how we make for a positive candidate experience.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to recruitment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter with focus on Technical Recruiting
  • Technology knowledge (different coding languages/technical stacks/terminology)
  • Knowledgeable with ATS system (Greenhouse)
  • Flexible and excited to help build something awesome and share it with the world
  • Bold and self-aware, clear communicator with empathy towards the people you work with
  • Exceptional project management skills, independent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to collaborate with others and to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Startup experience is a huge plus
