About the job

Spruce is looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our growing team, reporting to the Head of People Operations. This role will play a key part in establishing targeted sourcing strategies and building a diverse pipeline of candidates through creative outreach methods for both technical and non-technical roles.

What you'll do

• Full cycle recruiting from role creation through to offer and onboarding
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand the requirements of the role and scope of responsibilities
• Identify, engage, and manage top talent for a variety of roles
• Develop innovative sourcing strategies to achieve hiring goals; including Linkedin, external partnerships, campus recruiting, and events
• Ensure a high level of data integrity in our systems to nurture and engage with passive candidates and past candidates
• Run a best-in-class interview process including panel interviews, technical interviews, pre-briefs, debriefs, and guidance for candidates along the way

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated success in a fast paced environment
• Experience sourcing candidates for various technical roles (i.e. software engineering, data science, product etc.)
• Experience sourcing with LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools
• Experience and comfort working in a highly structured interview process
• Demonstrated success and interest in providing an exceptional and empathetic candidate experience
• Comfort working on a distributed team and ability to build relationships remotely
• Passion for building diverse, equitable, and inclusive teams
• Ability to juggle competing priorities
• Ability to digest complexity and ambiguity into clear actions and steps
• Experience with utilizing an ATS such as Lever or Greenhouse
