We are looking for a Senior Recruiter to help us achieve our ambitious hiring goals to take Codecademy to the next level. As a Senior Recruiter, you will collaborate with the Engineering and Product teams and drive the hiring process from strategy, sourcing, interviewing, offer, and on-boarding.
- Partner with Codecademy's Engineering and Product teams to define and accomplish hiring goals
- Craft detailed recruiting strategies that realize diversity, inclusion, and talent for Codecademy
- Creatively execute inbound, outbound, and referral-based sourcing techniques, with an emphasis on driving internal team’s participation
- Collaborate with hiring managers to guide candidates through the full lifecycle recruiting process, while always staying focused on providing a warm personable candidate experience
- Find opportunities to improve and fine-tune the candidate journey at Codecademy to make it memorable
- Work closely with HR as a member of the people team to ensure smooth and successful onboarding
- 5+ years of agency and/or internal technical recruiting experience
- Ability to own the full lifecycle recruiting process with minimal direction
- Proven track record of identifying and assessing top talent (with a strong focus on Software Engineering, Product Management and Product Design roles)
- A meticulous approach to organization
- An innate understanding of how to prioritize
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills to effectively communicate the Codecademy mission to candidates
- A proven track record of competition
- Teaching and/or structured tutoring experience
- Non-technical recruiting experience
- Startup recruiting experience
- Data analytical experience to derive insights from recruiting data
- At Codecademy, an interest in learning to code is strongly preferred
