The Role:
LeafLink seeks a Technical Recruiter to join our growing team and help us identify world class engineering talent. You will network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire and ensure we attract the best professionals. The successful candidate will:
Source potential candidates on niche platforms, like Stack Overflow and Github
Build strong relationships and collaborate with hiring managers to understand their unique hiring needs and goals, and evaluate candidates with focus
Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities and ensure they align with LeafLink’s mission and values
Create value in the candidate experience during phone screens by going beyond the job description, and explaining how the position fits within the candidate's experiences and skills, as well as LeafLink as a whole
Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions)
Coordinate with Engineering team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs
Write and post technical job descriptions
Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
Participate in industry events to network with IT professionals
Promote our reputation as a great place to work
Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter or Recruiter, helping to build technical teams by working with leadership and their staffing needs
Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for Engineering roles
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
Strong sourcing skills across a variety of channels
Experience partnering with managers, interviewers, and team members throughout the hiring process
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Startup experience preferred
