ABOUT THE ROLE:

Resy is seeking a Contract Technical Recruiter to manage our high-volume hiring for all technical positions. You'll be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and evaluating candidates to extending offers. You will work closely with our hiring managers to design and execute a recruiting strategy in an effort to locate and hire exceptional talent who will continue to drive Resy forward.

This contract position is a minimum of 3 months and you must be able to start immediately. Applicants must be based in the greater New York City area and be willing to work at Resy's office. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Manage a high number of open engineering roles, maintaining strong attention to detail and providing a high level of customer service to both hiring managers and external candidates
  • Evaluate a high volume of inbound applicants and source passive candidates through a variety of methods (social, networking, career fairs, industry events, external agencies or hiring platforms, etc), building a consistent pipeline of talent for high priority and hard-to-fill positions
  • In conjunction with our People Team, build and continue to make improvements to our hiring processes, ensuring that they are efficient and effective for candidates and hiring managers
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product, culture, strategic direction, and competitors, and use this knowledge to craft compelling messaging to potential candidates
  • Maintain clear and consistent records in our applicant tracking system
  • Contribute to ad hoc recruiting projects as necessary

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You have 2-5 years’ experience recruiting for a broad range of technical roles at a variety of levels preferably at high-growth tech startups
  • You are hyper organized and have strong project management skills
  • You have built up a network of engineers who would love to hear from you
  • You have the proven ability to prioritize, problem-solve, build programs for scale, and work efficiently under deadlines
  • You are an articulate communicator (both written and verbal) with strong a attention to detail
  • You are flexible, with the ability to adapt to unpredictable change
  • You have the ability to stay focused while juggling several priorities
  • You are outgoing and have a dynamic personality
  • You have a desire to work in a fast-paced high-growth startup environment
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and Google Suite
