Honest Buildings is looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our fast growing team to drive recruitment for our development team. We’re a small team building out our recruiting function. You’d have the opportunity to own tech recruiting as we scale fast. You will partner closely with the leaders of engineering to grow and improve our internal full cycle recruiting process. As a Tech Recruiter, you will build strong relationships with the NYC tech community and own the candidate experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and drive the full recruitment life cycle including creating a sourcing strategy, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and closing candidates.
• Work with hiring managers to better understand the needs and drive improvement to their interview processes and pipelines.
• Build optimal experience for candidates and interviewers by continuously improving our interview process and training interviewers.
• Build strong relationships with candidates and work hard to close them.
• Develop and execute creative recruiting efforts and events; including informational sessions, recruitment mixers and other activities that promote HB recruiting and outreach efforts
• Promote the Honest Buildings brand and use creativity to attract and market the company to qualified and strong candidates

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience recruiting and sourcing engineers, preferably in startup environment
• Experience managing technical candidate pipelines and closing candidates
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage a robust/full pipeline with efficiency and constant attention
• High level of interpersonal skills and strong ability to engage both active and passive candidates
• Knowledge of an Applicant Tracking Systems and utilizing them for metrics driven recruiting
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
