Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team as we continue to focus on growing out our various tech teams to meet our increasing client demands. Though we sell to financial institutions, we act like a true tech driven start-up and need a recruiter who thrives in taking the initiative while understanding the challenges of this highly competitive market. As our team is lean, you will be empowered to own recruitment and help bring in top talent into our MarketAxess family. You have a track record of taking initiative, thinking of creative ways to bring in software engineers (and other technologists) and exceeding hiring goals.
What You’ll Do
- Think of and utilize innovative sourcing technologies, platforms and strategies to find, connect with and recruit top technical talent
- Work closely with Hiring Managers to write job descriptions, put together efficient interview processes and negotiate/present offers
- Own our Applicant Tracking System (SmartRecruiters) by posting job descriptions to various platforms, screening applicants and managing the interview process
- Be a true representative MarketAxess and act as the Gate into MarketAxess by performing the initial HR call with technical candidates
- Constantly communicate with the appropriate Hiring Managers and teams to update about the interview process, any roadblocks and suggest solutions to improve all processes
What You Bring to the Table
- 3+ years of full cycle, technical recruiting experience
- A go-getter mentality and an ability to thrive in an environment where you need to be a strategic thinker and self-starter
- Experience activating passive, technical candidates in this highly competitive and remote market through various means
- An excitement to represent MarketAxess and be able to confidently articulate our story (who we are, where we are headed and what we need) to candidates
- Proven ability to organize and manage numerous candidates, interview processes, pipelines, etc. at once
- Success “talking tech” to candidates and diving into technical skills ideally around Java, Microservices, Containerization and AWS
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
