The Role


We are seeking a University Recruiter for our Sales Development Program to help us build the next generation of industry-leading Account Executives at Veeva. You will work with the Director of Generation Veeva and our Services and Sales organizations to build our talent attraction strategy, coordinate University recruiting events, identify top university graduates, and interview candidates. You will represent Veeva as a Generation Veeva Ambassador to connect, target, and build our employer brand across Universities and student organizations. You will be responsible for presenting content for events and facilitating the follow-through with candidates. 

With our goal of growing Veeva to 10,000 employees by 2025, this role is critical to driving a continuous stream of talented, emerging sales professionals that will be the next generation of Veeva leaders.


This is a “Work Anywhere” position, but you must be located near one of our Northeast offices - NYC or Boston 

Responsibilities

  • Identify talented students and recent graduates from universities across North America to recruit them to our Sales Development Program
  • Be an advocate to authentically sell the value add of our unique, comprehensive Sales Development Program. 
  • Identify opportunities to increase hiring and evolve recruitment strategies in an innovative way
  • Represent Veeva as a Generation Veeva Ambassador to build our brand in Universities across North America and promote our Development Programs
  • Develop long term engagement programs with Universities and student organizations 
  • Coordinate and facilitate on-campus recruiting events and other talent attraction initiatives.
  • Create and deliver in person and virtual presentations / webinars to educate potential candidates on the career opportunities at Veeva.
  • Interview candidates to ensure they are a fit for the position and the role and help maintain an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Use a Sales-like approach to generate leads (new potential applicants) and manage the candidate pipeline
  • Facilitate follow-through with candidates, Director of SDP and Hiring Managers
  • Be a thought partner to the Sales leaders and stakeholders on recruitment and hiring strategies and development program initiatives. 

Requirements

  • 5+ years professional experience, of which 2+ years of experience working with graduating or recently graduated university students cultivating relationships and helping them start their careers.
  • Located within driving distance to the Philadelphia, NYC or Boston areas. 
  • Ability to travel up to 50% during peak recruiting season
  • 1+ year experience working independently in a role and drove results
  • Passionate about helping new grads start and grow their career in the right way
  • Ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of the role
  • Ability to identify key traits and skills quickly in an interview
  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
  • Quickly build relationships and trust with candidates and new hires 
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to collect data, analyze and provide insights
