About the position:

Foursquare is undergoing an exciting transformation to improve our HR technology systems and operations. We're seeking an Workday Specialist, who has a strong background in project management and keen understanding of Workday. The HRIS Analyst role will sit with the HR Operations team and report into the Senior Manager, Human Resources. This person will manage the planning, execution, and maintenance of Workday for Foursquare, with a focus on business process maintenance, security administration, reporting, data loads and data audits.

Responsibilities:

  • Project manage implementation of Workday, driving cross-functional collaboration
  • Partner with the HR Operations team to continuously optimize Workday, develop a Workday roadmap and implement solutions to drive adoption and ease of use
  • Partner with external vendors, users and other internal partners on data and systems projects, integration and analytics; ensuring the integrity of HRIS data and security
  • Collaborate with Workday team on: 
    • Gather business requirements, determine viable system solutions, and build investment with stakeholders to implement changes.
    • Configure changes in Workday aligned with business requirements and perform comprehensive unit testing.
    • Write advanced reports that include creating calculated fields and maintaining dashboards, providing the HR Team and wider organization with accurate data. 
    • Monitor and configure current systems processes and create new ones as needed.
    • Participate actively in the Workday Community, propose and advocate for improvements to the Workday solution, and build a network of peers to best-practice-share.
    • Create and maintain end-user and training documentation; and participate in training activities for stakeholders and end-users.
  • Drive testing and implementation of Workday and any upgrades, resolve system issues, perform mass data uploads and perform scheduled activities to ensure systems and processes are working as designed
  • Develop and document Workday system procedures and tutorials for employees 
  • Regularly evaluate current state of system, data, and integrations and proactively identify opportunities for improvement, including analyzing the impact of Workday’s bi-annual updates
  • Build advanced reporting and dashboards to support available data and insights
  • List of Workday components we’ll be using: HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Performance, Talent, Workforce Planning 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field required 
  • 2+ years of Workday, hands-on configuration experience required 
  • End to end implementation experience including requirements documentation, systems configuration, project management, issue management, communication and change management.
  • Understands complexities and nuances with Workday reporting and has experience writing custom reports in Workday required
  • Experience defining HR business and systems strategy: developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
  • Strong working knowledge of Workday modules such as: HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Performance, Talent, Workforce Planning and/or Integrations. Workday certifications preferred.  
  • Experience with day-to-day production support of live Workday environment required
  • Excellent knowledge of HR, Payroll & Benefits systems, processes, procedures and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills 
  • Commitment to delivery of high quality outcomes and an eye toward continuous improvement
  • Demonstrate high level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively work with highly technical and non-technical teams
  • Action-orientation with excellent follow-through skills; works well independently and in teams in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment
