Unleash your expertise in sourcing and realizing new revenue opportunities by enhancing our client's business models through embedding financial services within their platform.
As a Vice President in Embedded Payments Industry Solutions, you directly contribute to the commercial success of the Embedded Payments product organization. Through in-depth research of specific industries, exploration of software and financial sponsor players supporting an industry, and creative application of Embedded Payment solutions directly with clients, you are empowered to directly realize the revenue goals of the business. Harness relationships with J.P. Morgan's robust coverage organization, marketing and product partners to support your ability to drive new business.
Embedded Payments enables our customers to manage payment activities of 3rd parties (e.g. marketplace sellers, SaaS customers, franchisees/distributors/dealers, etc...) through digital experiences powered by J.P. Morgan. We empower our clients to harness the value of their inherent network and deliver value-added experiences where they can leverage our robust, bank-based digital financial services to optimize how they deliver such capabilities. The Industry Solutions team is responsible for identifying go-to-market approach for specific industries, partnering with coverage/product colleagues and directly engaging clients/prospects to realize new business.

Job responsibilities
- Conducts market research and analysis to provide insights into market demands and industry trends, while communicating essential feedback and acting as the voice of the client
- Develops deep knowledge within specific industries and across a broad set of products, and serves as a trusted advisor to offer structured modified solutions to clients and prospects
- Supports the Sales teams in general education and account planning by delivering industry-specific case studies and strategies
- Consults with clients to understand their current processes, challenges, and priorities
- Drive new leads and realize Embedded Payments opportunities in the following industries: Consumer, Retail, Business Services, Media, Communications and Software Partnerships
- Identify industry-specific market opportunity for Embedded Payments, including approach across major industry participants/SaaS/platforms, value proposition and product viability/gaps
- Creatively leverages Embedded Payments product capabilities to meet client opportunities, directly or through software partnerships
- Provides product colleagues insight into clients and industries
- Collaborates with marketing efforts for industry-specific campaigns
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience solutioning for an industry or working with a broad set of related products
- Demonstrated prior experience designing complex, structured solutions for clients and prospects
- Proven ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and industry trends
- Experience working and engaging with clients in a highly matrixed and complex organization
- Ability to grasp complex product concepts and apply to customer's business opportunities
- Clear communicator
- People person, who can build external and internal relationships
- Ability to travel (1-2 trips/mo)
