About the Role

We are looking for a driven, highly proactive BI & Analytics Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in making our data accessible and actionable by designing, building, and optimizing interactive dashboards in Sigma. You will work directly with our data stack to transform complex datasets into clear visual insights, leveraging your skills in SQL and Python.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain dynamic data visualizations and dashboards using Sigma.
  • Write, review, and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data for reporting.
  • Utilize Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automating repetitive tasks.
  • Actively leverage AI tools (e.g., LLMs, coding copilots) to accelerate development, troubleshoot code, and improve daily workflows.
  • Collaborate with the data team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous internship, academic coursework, or strong project portfolio demonstrating practical experience with SQL and Python.
  • Data Visualization: Hands-on experience with BI platforms (Sigma, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.). Specific experience with Sigma is a major plus.
  • Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
Key Traits & Culture
  • High Agency: You do not wait to be told what to do. You are a self-starter who identifies bottlenecks, proposes solutions, and executes autonomously in an ambiguous environment.
  • AI-Forward: You are highly comfortable and experienced with using AI tools to enhance your productivity and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Curiosity: A strong desire to learn modern data stack technologies and dive deep into complex business problems.
Compensation:

This is a paid internship with an hourly rate of $25, with interns working up to 40 hours per week.

The program runs for 8 weeks.
