Who we are
The Quality Engineering (QE) team at WeightWatchers plays an instrumental role to deliver high-quality digital experiences to our WW members. We accomplish this by collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to brainstorm, implement, test, and release customer-centric features and solutions. We believe in a Shift-Left mentality; adopting agile methodologies in all of our crews and developing automated test suites is a crucial part of our CI/CD pipeline. We develop, maintain, execute, and monitor QE processes, tooling, utilities, and backend and front-end automated tests for web, iOS, and android applications.
As our WW Digital team continues to grow and work to be an inclusive company (which includes ensuring our app and website are accessible for everyone), we are looking for an intern who is passionate about quality engineering.

As a Quality Engineering intern, you'll be working with a highly technical and world-class QE organization. You can expect to:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute a robust automation suite of backend and front-end tests for our applications
  • Advocate for Shift-Left practices to build quality into our applications early in the software lifecycle
  • Champion our member experience by identifying and testing common use cases
  • Learn from our talented team of quality engineers and share your knowledge and ideas to help us make improvements
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and other agile ceremonies
  • Attend sprint planning meetings where you will provide estimates for tasks
  • Develop test automation code on feature branches and push your code to Github
  • Receive and provide feedback on the solutions you and your team develop
  • Track, update, and resolve tickets you work on in Jira
  • Create test plan, test cases, and participate in demos or group presentation
  • Support deployments and bug triage

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another technical discipline with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Desire to seek out challenges and learn from other engineers
  • Critical eye for identifying and solving issues
  • A collaborative approach to sharing your ideas and feedback with the team
