About the team & Opportunity: 

The application engineering team at Quartet is responsible for building products that connect primary care and mental health providers to get people the right care at the right time. Quartet Health’s application engineers work cross-functionally alongside product managers and designers to deliver high quality products to our users. As a member of this team, you will develop responsive product features in Javascript on both the client and server sides while collaborating with these cross functional teams.

As the application engineer intern you will spend 8 weeks achieving the following outcomes:

• You’ll work with the team to enhance and build new product functionality to support patients and other initiatives in our products.
• You’ll help increase our overall accessibility coverage of our web application.

Accountabilities:

• Craft software to enhance and expand our product functionality
• Increase accessibility coverage by improving our test suites
• Participate in agile software development ceremonies

Primary Qualifications:

• Working towards a Computer Science, Software Engineering or related degree
• Javascript experience with React or Node.js
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
