Business Development Intern
EquityZen is an early-mid stage financial technology company, backed by leading private equity investors. We're looking for an Intern to join our Business Development team on a paid part-time basis for 15 - 20 hours per week for at least the remainder of 2021. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Reporting to the Senior Business Development Associate, you will assist with partnership opportunities, including tracking critical metrics and ensuring organized project management
- Conduct competitor analysis, industry mapping, and prepare research reports
- Prepare for and participate in calls and meetings and handle follow-up items
- Prepare executive committee and client presentations and collateral
- Manage projects by working cross-functionally with teams like Legal, Sales, Product, Engineering, etc.
- Help the Business Development team execute towards 2021 Goals
- Other tasks, projects, and strategic growth initiatives that are prioritized for the Business Development team and Company
THE RIGHT STUFF
- Strong MS Office (PPT, XLS) skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to take initiative and own outcomes
- Ability to think analytically, strategically and creatively
- Willingness to wear many hats and be involved in many projects
- Self-starter
BONUS POINTS
- Knowledge of the venture capital and larger financial services industry
- Experience with Asana or other project management tools
- Experience preparing pitch decks and one pagers
