About the Role:
Click therapeutics aims to offer students real world cybersecurity exposure, hands-on experience, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. The selected candidate will be working closely with the Cybersecurity team to assist in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures, providing security awareness training, creating phishing campaigns, and performing vendor risk assessments.
This position is based out of Click’s headquarters located in Tribeca, NYC, at the center of one of the fastest-growing digital health communities. This is a hybrid internship in which you will come to the office Wednesday and Friday.
Responsibilities:
- The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and senior leadership
- Assist in the vendor risk assessment process
- Assist in maintaining organization security posture by providing security awareness training
- Work with Cybersecurity team to maintain Governance
- Assist in preparing and documenting standard operating procedures and protocols
- Assist in identifying network and system vulnerabilities
- Work as part of a team with similarly tasked Engineers and Analysts in a diverse, engaging, supportive and respectful manner
- Participate in discussions & brainstorming sessions on architecture, design, organizational improvement
- Collaborate with other departments on ongoing and upcoming projects
- Work with Cybersecurity team to plan, develop, and launch monthly phishing campaigns
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in IT/Cybersecurity
- Eager to engage and ready to explore new tasks
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity and/or related field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Compensation: $22/hr
Hours and Duration:
This is a part-time, 30 hours/week position. The internship will have a duration of 10 weeks, from May 17 to July 28, 2023.
