Lifecycle Marketing Intern

Teachable is hiring a Lifecycle Marketing Intern for the 2022 Spring semester (end of January through end of May) to help support large-scale marketing campaigns and experimentation that will convert leads into customers, help customers achieve success on our platform, and continuously test new strategies to improve key marketing metrics. Your primary responsibilities will include campaign logistics, task and timeline execution and management, research, and quality assurance. You’ll work alongside teams to create, test, and analyze email, website, and multi-channel campaigns and experiments to address the needs of prospects and customers at all stages of their lifecycle with Teachable.
You’ll be part of the marketing team, a fast-paced, highly cross-functional team that is constantly testing and innovating to tell the best possible story to our customers. Your work will support marketing campaigns and sitewide experimentation from ideation and scoping through execution, and post-campaign analysis. This role reports to the Lifecycle Marketing Campaign Manager.

Our ideal candidate is a quick learner with an interest in developing their skills in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, project management, or marketing experimentation.
Sample Responsibilites
- Work alongside the Lifecycle marketing team to create campaign strategy docs and timelines.
- Research trends and best practices within email marketing, A/B testing, and conversion-driven copywriting.
- Assist in managing campaign timelines and creating project tasks in Asana (project management tool that you will gain experience in) for the marketing team.
- Coordinate campaign activities across team members; track deliverables; communicate project progress & status across stakeholders.
- Partner closely with Lifecycle team members as well as copywriters, designers, and data analysts—just to name a few—and our big goal is driving leads to purchase paid Teachable subscriptions.
- Review and QA assets like emails, banners, pop ups, landing pages, webinars, and more. You’ll do proofreading, on-page UX testing, link checks, and follow up with team members to ensure bugs are fixed.
- Recommend process improvement using data and feedback from existing and previous projects.
