We are the first company to develop clinical grade AI tools for the pathologist, which resulted in our receiving FDA breakthrough designation for our first product. Paige has also received FDA-clearance for our digital viewer, FullFocus™. We have also established multiple relationships with biopharma, laboratory, and equipment manufacturers that enables Paige to develop an ecosystem ready to help patients receive better diagnoses and treatment.

We are seeking Market Analyst Intern/Extern to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for activities related to market research and competitive intelligence that will be used to inform clinical and biopharma business and market strategy. You will work closely with senior team members to execute projects informed by primary and secondary market research, including mining public and private databases to derive insights that will inform future products, markets, customers and/or partners. This position offers significant opportunities for growth.

You may work from our NYC office, or anywhere in the United States or Canada in this position. 
As the Market Analyst Intern/Extern you will:

  • Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of market research projects related to our clinical and biopharma products
  • Work with senior team members to identify key hypotheses and research questions related to the strategic direction of the organization
  • Develop databases, routinely update market-focused dashboards, and disseminate intelligence and information throughout the organization on key topics 

About you:

  • 2+ years' as a consultant or market analyst with experience of the pharmaceutical, biotech, or diagnostics industries
  • Excellent 'c-suite' communication skills and experience with clinical studies
  • Accountable, proactive, and thoughtful with demonstrated strategic problem-solving skills
  • Experience with creating databases, working with large volumes of data, and creating dashboards
  • Experience in conducting primary and secondary market research
  • Experience creating client-ready deliverables in Word and/or PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn and understand disease, biology and technical concepts quickly
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • Currently taking MBA courses, recently graduated, and/or externship opportunity through your existing top-tier consulting firm employer
  • Strong knowledge of oncology and pathology
  • Experience working in fast-paced start-ups
  • Understanding of computer vision, machine learning and software as a medical device
