Education is one of the only remaining industries that has not been disrupted through application of modern technologies. This means that many areas of the industry remain inefficient and expensive, creating a vast opportunity for innovation.
The Noodle Companies is an EdTech studio founded by education pioneer John Katzman (The Princeton Review and 2U), comprised of four independent operating businesses with missions targeting growth in separate areas of the educational ecosystem.

Our businesses include:

  • Noodle Partners
  • Noodle Pros
  • Noodle Search
  • Noodle Markets
  • Noodle Management Services (servicing the four operating businesses)

An internship at the Noodle Companies is built to challenge both your industry knowledge and ability to work in a startup environment. Working at a startup can be chaotic and requires ownership on every level of the company - from intern to CEO.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This internship is intended for current or recently graduated college students.

The Operations internship is focused on providing administrative and organizational support for various processes, policies, and procedures for one of the Noodle Companies.

Ops interns will work closely with their manager, collaborating cross-functionally across teams as necessary.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing process review and documentation to improve quality, productivity and efficiency
  • Assisting with the preparation of materials and documents for meetings/special events
  • Assisting with the collection of key metrics across functional teams
  • Analyzing and improving organizational processes, policies, and assets
  • Working with operations managers to set and implement policies, procedures and systems
  • Taking part in day-to-day activities of the team and responsible for other assigned duties

This role is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to gain a first-hand understanding of how a operations professional works while learning the day-to-day concerns, processes, and goals of an EdTech company.

As part of the Noodle community, you will also be able to take part in company-wide events and are encouraged to learn from Noodlers across all our teams and companies, not just your own.

For the majority of the program, interns from all departments will have the opportunity to take part in a weekly leadership talks or workshops aimed at providing practical advice for career growth and expanding intellectual horizons. Planned topics include personal branding, design thinking, personal finance, job search strategy, and more.

By the end of the ten weeks, interns will have also completed a capstone project related to their departmental focus. This project is designed to provide a tangible achievement for each intern while also providing value to the company. Interns are expected to present their project to their cohort as well as other Noodlers during the final week of the program.
