Stash is seeking a Product Design Intern to assist our growing Product Design team.This intern will have the opportunity to work on a cross-disciplinary team and create the necessary building blocks of our design system. This is a fantastic chance to see how design is executed in a fast-paced, startup environment - join us!

What you'll do:

• Assist and collaborate with a Senior Product Designer and other design systems team members to build out and refine our design system
• Troubleshoot with design team members on their usage of Sketch and design system components 
• Work with engineers on building our new components and raising the bar of our design language system overall 

What we're looking for:

• High proficiency with Sketch with a passion for details and making reusable components. 
• Passion about the space: You love the world of design and are always keeping on top of the most recent developments, from design tools to usability improvements
• Excellent communication skills: you should be able to clearly articulate your design decisions
• Pursuing a BA/BS degree or equivalent in a design related field.
• Link to portfolio featuring strong examples of relevant product design work. Could be an online portfolio (Dribbble, Behance, etc.), a personal site, or a PDF.
• Link to a Sketch file you feel best represents your organizational skills and usage of symbol

Gold Stars:

• Experience with Zeplin and exporting assets to developers
