Yieldstreet is looking for an MBA or Master’s candidate who has a strong interest in the product management field, preferably with an interest or background in finance, software and analytics. At Yieldstreet, you will work together with design, engineering, data and marketing teams to understand our user base, identify opportunities for growth, and experiment / execute on those ideas.
As a Product Intern, you will help shape the future of Yieldstreet by assisting in defining and driving the execution of key opportunities for growth, while supporting all aspects of the business with teams from all backgrounds.
Product at Yieldstreet is led by our Chief Product Officer, who brings 20+ years experience to the role from companies like Soundcloud, Shutterstock, and others. As a team, we are frequently and actively involved in company-level strategic decisions, and this internship offers the opportunity to be part of an innovative product team where you will have an immediate impact on the investor experience. You will work with the whole product team and gain hands-on experience with the customer journey (acquisition, activation, purchase, retention, and advocacy).

This role is for a Summer 2022 Internship, and will be based out of our New York City office - considerations will be made for COVID if necessary
What You'll Do:
- The candidate will perform data analysis, present the insights drawn from that analysis, and work with developers and designers to define features based on these insights.
- You will get hands-on experience performing scrum ceremonies while also owning the quality of the product, and have a “roll-up-your-sleeves” mentality to deliver world-class software in every release.
- Improve our user experience and help us reach new customers while retaining our existing user base.
- Work with cross-functional team members to define and implement new metrics that help us measure the effectiveness of our efforts.
- Forecast the impact of your efforts and evaluate whether your solutions have performed as expected, while continuing to iterate and identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as Investor Relations, Marketing, and other internal teams to incorporate customer feedback into the roadmap.
What You'll Need:
- Currently pursuing a Master’s or MBA degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Prior experience within high-growth, B2C tech industry, and agile software development environments.
- Experience using qualitative customer insights and quantitative data to inform product decisions. You’ve previously conducted user interviews, usability research and/or A/B tests and have a strong understanding of customer segmentation combined with a growth mindset.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, written and presentation communication and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude, results-oriented, and practical.
- Ability to translate product needs to technology and to understand software development.
- Ability to operate independently and within a team mindset.
- You must be able to obtain authorization to work in the U.S. for the summer and you will be expected to travel to the NY office during the internship. Additionally, you must be returning to school in the Fall of 2022.
