You’ll need to be comfortable working with technology, have great attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Extensively test all new products heading to launch in order to ensure all components are working properly
  • Work with product managers to write and organize accurate, detailed specs and user stories describing the scope and nature of work required from the engineering team
  • Update and categorize tickets in Jira (our sprint management system) to enable accurate reporting and transparency into current and past development sprints
  • Help create and update cross-team sprint reports to help senior leadership manage capacity and calibrate priorities
  • Undertake and organize user testing, market research and product or competitive analysis as required

Skills and experience:

  • Must be a matriculated undergraduate student or be in the Spring 2018 graduating class (no other applications will be considered).
  • Must be able to commit to a consistent schedule of 20 hours per week in our NYC office
  • Major (or relevant coursework) in Computer Science is highly preferable
