Type: Internship for Undergrad or Graduate College Students

Who you are:

You are a student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a similar field.  You write clean, well-structured code, and are passionate about code quality. You believe in the importance of reliable, scalable, and robust test automation. You advocate for quality and enjoy collaborating with a team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing new, and refining existing, automation tests aligned with our microservice architecture to improve and enhance our test coverage
  • Ensure proper test coverage across our entire architecture and work towards closing gaps in test coverage
  • Have an in-depth understanding of our SDLC and ensure that our automation tests enable QA, Engineers, and the rest of the development team to work seamlessly together to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree (B.S./M.S./PhD) in Computer Science or related field
  • Solid understanding of object oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
  • Experience with Python and/or JavaScript
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Selenium
  • Experience with NodeJS
  • Experience with Jenkins
  • Experience with git
