Service Design Intern

As a Service Design intern, in the Product organization of WW, you will work closely with the Product Managers and SVP of Studio Experience. This team focuses on the end-to-end experience a consumer engages in when attending a WW Studio location. We leverage qualitative research, quantitative data, and service design best practices to continually iterate on and improve the in-person experience. You will focus on an insight or member problem that has surfaced from our team's research, and will be given the opportunity to lead discovery, brainstorm, develop a journey, and pitch ideas to improve the issue. You will learn through collaboration with our PM's, researchers, designers, and operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing research and data to define member pain points.
- Leverage Service Design best practices such as journey mapping, service blueprinting, and facilitating co-creative working sessions to synthesize and brainstorm around insights.
- Create a project plan and prototype for ways to improve the existing experience.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Lead a design project, while contributing to other design projects being worked on by the team.
Skills and Requirements:
- Ability to interpret quantitative data and synthesize qualitative feedback
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong Emotional intelligence (EQ)
- Creative problem-solving skills, a curious mind, enthusiastic work ethic
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent working towards an advanced degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Centered Design, Design Leadership, Business Administration or equivalent
- Must be attending an accredited university
- Completed 3 or more courses in your major
- Cumulative GPA in your major of 3.0 or higher
