What you’ve done before:

Demonstrated an ability to write clean, well-structured code, and a passion for code quality. Taken advanced-level CS courses, including algorithms and data structures. Shipped projects (either professionally or academically) that leveraged OO languages, modern design patterns, and storage systems in a Unix/Linux environment.

What a successful internship looks like:

  • As well as working with the team on smaller items, you’ll deliver a project which makes a meaningful difference to the quality of our product through better test infrastructure or frameworks.
  • Assist in developing automation frameworks aligned with our micro-service architecture to improve and enhance our test coverage.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of our SDLC and ensure the automation tooling, CI/CD, and test reporting enables QE, Engineers, and the rest of the development team to work seamlessly together to deliver high-quality software.
  • Work with the engineering teams to plan for new feature development that will impact testing scope, require new approaches to testing and automation, and ensure quality is delivered alongside the development of each new feature and service.

Preferred Experience Requirements (2 or more)

  • Pursuing a degree (B.S/M.S./PhD.) in Computer Science or related fields
  • Java, Scala or Python
  • Cloud infrastructure
  • Developed RESTful services
  • UI/API test automation
  • Contributed to an open source project
