Summer 2018 Sports Internship
The Daily News is now looking for enthusiastic college journalism students who are ready to learn the exhilarating, vital world of journalism from inside the city’s most vibrant news organization.
Responsibilities
Covers sporting events, answers phones, researches, writes, and produces stories. Assists in production of play-by-play presentations and sports talk shows including: booking, ideation, screening phones, audio production, editing, completion of promotional/programming paperwork, and special projects.
Qualifications
- Applicants should include links to a portfolio or submit at least 3 clips.
- This is an advanced program, with one to two previous internships required.
