The Technology Services Project Intern will assist the Technology Services team with managing MLB’s project deliverables This is a great opportunity to combine your education curriculum and applied knowledge in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, supporting the business of Major League Baseball. You will get hands-on knowledge of how we manage planned work and and learn how to turn reams of operational data into insights and actionable results.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager with special projects, including migrations, deployments, configuration and optimization of internal technology tools and turning data gleaned from incidents and operational metrics into insights and actionable tasks.
- Assist with reviewing and grooming our backlog.
- Assist with updating and reorganizing our Wiki.
- Attend and take part in team project stand-up meetings and assist in note taking.
- Assist in the creation of clear documentation for project deliverables.
- Assist Project Manager in partnering with the tech lead to gather all required project deliverables from client for delivery to internal departments.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Completed or working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security or a related field.
- Must be able to work autonomously and be self-motivated to learn and contribute. Desire to be a powerful communicator, in both verbal and written form, with the ability to articulate concepts and ideas, engage people and work effectively with others.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while dealing with sensitive information
- Available to work 40 hours per week
