UX Researcher Intern, Spring 2021
As a UX Research Intern, you’ll join our 10-person team responsible for shaping and maintaining the user experience on the IAS platform. You’ll be a valued contributor to the team, working side-by-side with our lead researcher and getting hands-on with every aspect of the research process. You’ll work in an environment that enables you to hone your research craft as you help build products that people use everyday to get their work done You’ll walk away having made demonstrable contributions to a successful tech product. This is a great opportunity for a student who loves UX and wants experience agile software development in a fast-paced, enterprise technology company.
What you'll get to do:
- Contribute ideas, draft research project plans, participate in research sessions, support collaborative-analysis, and write up reports
- Plan and contribute to workshops and brainstorming sessions
- Support user-research knowledge management: documenting, managing assets, coding + tagging, formatting, sharing insights
- Support research operations with recruiting, scheduling, tracking participants, following-up and sending incentives, + coordinating communication
- Present your work to stakeholders both on and outside the UX team
You should apply if you have most of this experience:
Currently an undergraduate or recent graduate in HCI, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Human Factors, Anthropology, Communications/Marketing, or a related field or equivalent work experience
Interest in big data, analytics, and enterprise UX
Experience facilitating or participating in interviews and/or collaborative workshops
Ability to communicate clearly and engage with a wide variety of audiences
Analytical and critical thinking skills
Effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
Enthusiasm and tenacity to work with a variety of personalities
Understanding of experimental design, design practices, and design principles
