About the Role:

LeagueApps has designed, built and currently hosts almost 600 websites for America’s most prolific local and youth sports organizations. Our success hinges on our commitment and ability to enable our partners to “play forever” and make sports happen in their communities.  

As LeagueApps rapidly grows, we are seeking a talented Web Builder that can work alongside our incredibly talented Web Designers to implement their designs and help with the content population across all the pages our partners need to tell the world what they are about and why they are helping to make a difference in children’s lives through sport. Working with WordPress is the heart of the job, but we aren’t looking for someone who just copies templates and populates them with pictures and words. At LeagueApps, we want someone who understands the impact of their work on the designers they work with, LeagueApps partners, and the parents and athletes who will view these pages. This shows up in their attention to detail, their commitment to excellence and efficiency, and their willingness to take on repetitive tasks of content population. Having great command of the English language and a sharp design eye are great bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Implement Web Designs created by the Designers in WordPress
• Fill websites with content (images and copy) provided by the sports organizations
• Proofreading of content provided and light editing

Requirements

• Experience building websites in WordPress
• Proficient with cloud-based content creation softwares (Google Docs, Adobe, or others)
