Our services division, RubensteinTech, is seeking a software engineering intern to implement web standards-compliant websites and web applications using our leading-edge RubyApps marketing content platform and technologies such as JavaScript, Node.js, and React. Applicants must have experience working with at least one content management system, a strong technical background, and a passion for technology and the user experience.

RubensteinTech works with forward-looking technologies to push the envelope on easy-to-use website management software: your ability to work within a small, highly-technical team in a dynamic environment is essential.

Successful candidates will have the ability to develop clean, well-documented object-oriented code in Perl, PHP, Python, and/or JavaScript, and the enthusiasm to strive for continuous growth and improvement.

Required skills:

• Experience creating content-managed websites
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Drive to advance your programming skills

Desired skills:

• HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
• Node.js, React, and other server-side JavaScript platforms
• Perl, Python, or PHP development experience
• WordPress, Drupal, or related CMS development experience
• Knowledge of Internet, infrastructure, and networking protocols
• Pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar is preferred.

This is a paid internship. Compensation commensurate with experience.
