Pond5 operates the world’s largest collection of royalty free footage and other media assets, with over 60,000 contributors in over 150 countries.  Our footage is an integral part of the production process for just about every TV and film production, and our assets provide creators with an array of options that often exceed the types of shots they can film on their own- either because of budget, time, or practicality.  Because of the massive demand for our collection and overall growth in the video and social media, TV, and film production market, we are looking to add to the team.

Pond5 is seeking a driven, energetic, entrepreneurial talent to work directly with customers, largely in the TV production space, to find what they want and to be a creative partner to make sure they make the most out of our library. The ideal candidate is creative, resilient, comfortable picking up the phone to talk to anyone, lives to provide above and beyond service, and is excited to take our business to the next level.

In this role, you will leverage your prior sales experience in a fast-moving, dynamic environment, helping clients achieve their production and creative goals and helping Pond5 rapidly expand our customer base.  If you have the drive to keep up with our rapid-growth high-volume pace, we want to hear from you.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with known and new editors in TV production to maintain/expand relationships and ensure that Pond5 is top of mind
  • Rigorously pursue all sales leads (by phone, email, or carrier pigeon if necessary)
  • Help clients identify and purchase the right clips and license levels
  • Assist with general customer service requests that occur during the sales process
  • Work independently to manage a book of business- develop deep knowledge of accounts and stay on top of them
  • Research and proactively hunt for stock heavy TV shows and opportunities
  • Gather customer feedback for product development and market research
  • Team with colleagues to grow sales volume in the TV/Production space
  • Ensure data integrity and that our CRM system is overflowing with rich client data to support revenue generation
  • Consistently meet or exceed targets

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • 1-2 years of sales experience, using a CRM, preferred but not necessary
  • Client-focused, service-oriented, and articulate in all communications
  • Knowledge of the stock industry, including licensing terms, is a plus but not required
  • Experience in TV ad sales is a plus
  • Ability to multi task and stay organized
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing, global environment
  • Motivated by exceeding goals
  • A team player while able to work independently and autonomously
  • BA degree is preferred but not required
