What You’ll Do:
- Work closely with prospective customers, Sales, and Sales Engineering (SE) to identify, prioritize, and quantify key business drivers and understand how our solutions will help customers meet their strategic objectives.
- Partner with the CRO, Sales, and SE leadership to develop value-led engagement strategies and attach business value to every opportunity in a scalable, repeatable way.
- Constantly iterate and improve our value model; including ideating new formulas as new features and capabilities are launched.
- Educate and train GTM teams on using our business value tools to build self-service business cases across Sales and Customer Success.
- Attend client meetings and conduct in-depth discovery on strategic objectives, current state vs. future state, pain points, gaps in technology, and how Stack Overflow for Teams can help close those gaps.
- Present results of Business Value Assessment and Realizations to a range of audiences including C-Suite, developer leads, IT, and procurement.
- Conduct TCO and ROI analyses and value realization engagements.
- Support the development of new value assets, tools and collateral, helping develop the practice, and manage the library of Business Value assets.
What You’ll Need to Have:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- 7+ years in Value Consulting, Value Management, Value Engineering, Management Consulting, Solutions Consulting, or Customer Success.
- Experience building quantitative and qualitative analyses. Highly analytical and well-organized, in both thought process and mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communicator with attention to detail.
- Experience presenting data and findings to clients and/or executive audiences.
- Deep financial analysis and modeling of ROI and TCO concepts to justify business cases.
- Self-starter with demonstrated flexibility and creativity when facing challenging problems or projects; ability to adjust to changing priorities of a quarterly cycle.
- A storyteller, passionate about helping customer identify and activate strategic business objectives.
- A creative mindset to help build the Business Value Consulting program for global scale. #LI-Remote #LI-KS1
