The Role:

As a Lead UX / Visual Designer at Intersection, you will be at the forefront of Intersection’s IoT practice, helping to design technology that will push the limits of the internet-integrated physical world. You’ll be an integral part of our efforts to help design, research and develop our products. As we scale Engineering at Intersection, our approach to quality, practices, and skill development is a key pillar in building the kind of team we need to build the products we desire.

What you will accomplish:

• Design products bringing digital capabilities to the physical world
• Shepherd agile practices and process at scale across products and projects
• Be a product visionary when it comes to user-driven experience in the physical space, using persona based tech to drive interaction.
• Helping drive from ambiguity towards something tangible through an iterative process
• Craft visual interface designs by creating high fidelity designs for product interfaces across platforms
• Create prototypes and visual wireframe interface prototyping tools and motion graphics
• Collaborate with other managers in leading Product Development

What we are looking for:

• 4-7+ years of experience in designing visual language systems for digital products and services
• Knowledge of design and prototyping tools, such as Adobe creative suite, Sketch, Invision
• Knowledge in Graphic Design, Branding and experience design who is seeking to work in a multidisciplinary environment
• Introduce new ideas and concepts
• Ability to articulate a new concept or vision for projects
• Model constructive behavior
• Ability to engage across disciplines
• Clear understanding of human-centered design
• Ability to interpret and execute against existing brand guidelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of an agile team to meet tight deadline
• Bachelor’s degree in design or related field
