Description:

Looking for an attorney with experience in television, either from the production side or network side to handle day-to-day production legal, working directly with production teams to advise on production procedure and risk management. Will also be responsible for drafting and negotiating appearance releases, location releases and materials releases. Will support the VP in drafting and negotiating longform talent agreements. Additionally will work with the marketing team to handle their Master Services Agreements in connection with marketing campaigns and events.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. degree with admission to one or more state bars in good standing required
  • 2-5 years experience at a law firm, television network or production company

  • Highly organized, detail oriented and self-motivated
  • Superior communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A demonstrated ability to work independently while serving a variety of departments within the company
