Joining Collibra's Legal team:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Contract Manager who is interested in joining Collibra’s world class Commercial Legal team. This person is a leader, a project manager and a self-starter, able to take on multiple concurrent company initiatives. The Contract Manager is a collaborator and will be partnering with all departments within the company including Procurement, Finance, Sales and Marketing.

Contract Managers at Collibra are responsible for:

  • As a key member of Collibra Commercial Legal team this role will be responsible for contract review, contract drafting and negotiation of a wide range of contracts, including non-disclosure, customer agreements, data privacy, vendor and other related agreements.
  • Inputting and organizing contracts into the contract management system.
  • Assisting with the development and improvement of standard form agreements and contract playbooks.
  • Providing general support to the legal team to further department and company objectives.
  • Assisting with due diligence documentation and organization.

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials.
  • Minimum of three years of contracts drafting, reviewing and negotiation experience, for a wide variety of contracts, preferably at a technology company.
  • Data privacy experience, including an understanding of DPAs, related security exhibits, standard contractual clauses and similar documents to comply with GDPR, and privacy issues, etc.

  • Up to understanding complex issues and ability to interact with colleagues and present information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Someone with a practical, proactive, collaborative and business-focused approach to problem solving with the ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgement.
  • Prepared to manage internal customer priorities and needs.
  • Able to work as part of an effective team that collaborates to create the highest quality work product for the Collibra Commercial Legal team.

Reporting to Collibra's Lead Commercial Counsel, Contract Manager’s measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will familiarize yourself with Collibra’s contracting processes and systems.
  • Within your third month, you will collaborate with other internal stakeholders to build-out and improve our contracting management systems.
  • Within your sixth month, you will provide valuable feedback and work closely with other internal stakeholders in the course of contract review and negotiations.
