WHAT WE NEED

We’re looking for someone who can see what’s needed to build and keep our consumer lending practice in compliance, someone who has a burning itch to make it the best, and someone who is simply missing the means and resources to do it. If being on the ground floor of establishing a lending department seems interesting to you, keep reading.

In more boring detailed terms, we’re looking for someone who will be responsible for conducting comprehensive compliance and operational risk reviews based on federal and state regulations and departmental procedures. Be warned, this is a very hands-on role!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Scoping regulatory landscape for new products

Define measures to be taken to implement the creation or adjusting of policies and procedures for new products

Support the implementation of changes as a subject matter expert 

Answer to inquiries from operational areas regarding compliance and raise questions or issues to department management as appropriate

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Proficiency in identifying and interpreting regulatory requirements

Positive collaborative attitude

Prefer Bachelor’s degree or a professional qualification with relevant experience

5+ years in a compliance advisory role in a credit card, banking or financial services institution preferred 

Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex information to identify the key issue/action and drive resolution

Perform internal audits that document process and procedure compliance with US regulations and market standards

Identifying process weaknesses, knowledge gaps and hiring needs in the organization to reduce the company’s risk profile

Design a testing program in accordance with the company’s risk profile and roll out throughout the US operations
