Position Summary: We are looking for inherently curious people. We want someone obsessed with understanding the 'why.' This position is for people who love data, love analysis, and are passionate about improving processes. In the role of Manager, Data Analytics, you will predominately use a tech stack of Power BI, SQL, Visual Studio Code, Snowflake, and Excel to answer questions to data which is ETL'd from our ERP, CRM, and various internal and external data sources. You will lead a high performing team that is highly visual to the executives of the organization and have an immediately ability to make an impact and bring value to the entire business. This position will demand executive presence, emotional intelligence, and high levels of organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interact with our executive team and business unit leaders to answer questions about the highest priority business initiatives.
  • Lead a team of analysts and be responsible for their skill growth and career growth.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate work in organized and timely manner.
  • Lead individuals which are not reporting to you and be able to build consensus towards a common goal.
  • Dissect business process using data with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Query and analyze data from various data sources.
  • Work with IT to format data sets and Snowflake tables in a way that provides for more flexibility in data analysis.
  • Concise logical explanations for a variety of personas, from C-suite down to individual contributors
  • Regression modeling for A/B and multivariate analysis
  • Creation of Power BI workbooks and visualization using DAX formulas
  • Understanding of Tableau and ability to transition work done in Tableau to Power BI
  • Creation of SQL queries which optimize for performance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 6+ years of relevant analytical experience, with 3 to 4 being in senior level analyst roles.
  • Expert in both Power BI and Excel
  • Intermediate experience in Tableau.
  • Previous experience creating PVM bridges or similar segmentation bridges.
  • Previous work in a centralized analytics function working for all departments and all kinds of data.
  • Expert in understanding data structure and how joins change the grain of a dataset.
  • Strong knowledge of data management concepts, data modeling, and database technologies.
  • Translate analysis into insights and recommendation to business leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and/or statistical analysis, to solve complex business problems. Strong ability to translate data into actionable insights and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and apply analytical thinking to drive business results. Experience in formulating data strategies, developing roadmaps, and executing analytical initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without "dropping the ball."
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a "roll up your sleeves" and "win every day" mentality.
  • Hold oneself accountable and responsible while being self-driven in accomplishing goals.
  • Detail-oriented and can focus on task at hand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels to communicate with internal and external stakeholders articulately.
  • Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection.
  • Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels keeping peer and customer needs first.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).


Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

  • Master's degree in an analytical field, or MBA.
  • Statistics background in regression, A/B testing.
  • Experience with Python/R, SQL, UKG, Snowflake, Salesforce, NetSuite.
  • Power BI certification.
  • Ability to use AI to optimize job performance.
  • 2+ years of management experience.


Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional overnight travel required.


Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:

  • Additional hours may be required (exempt positions).


Physical Requirements:

  • Normal office environment.
  • Performs indoor work in a climate-controlled environment.
  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
